Hello again. Looks like I've managed two in a row here. Being a Saturday, I did not spend as much time working on school things.
Here is what I accomplished:
I'm nearly 1/3 finished typing out sorting sheets for my 5th grade spelling curriculum. It's going faster than the 2nd grade, because the template is already made. I also have worked out my lesson plans for the introductory period for spelling.
I loaded up the car with all the computer equipment for my classroom - 5 iMacs, 1 eMac, software, cords, etc. Let just say it will be a heavy car. It will be nice to get that out of the basement.
I received word that my carpet has been cleaned and dried, so it's safe for me to get back into my classroom tomorrow. It will be nice to move things into a more permanent place.
That's it for today. My internet service is down for a week, so we'll see if I can string out blog entries consistently. I'm hoping to invite some friends to this site - the place is vacant.
